This month...  Tuesday, July 23rd - Intermediate (Middle School) Chorus and Dance Auditions 2:00-4:00PM (Important note for Dance Auditions:  Be prepared to show your arabesque soté, balancé, pique turn, tour jété, grand jété, pirouette, grand battements, isolations and splits.)

and... Tuesday, July 23rd - 6th Grade Orientation 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM


School’s out. Free meals are in.

The School District of Lee County will be participating in the Summer Food Service Program from May 28, 2013 to July 26, 2013.  Participating sites will provide nutritious meals to kids and teens 18 and under.  Meals are free. There are no income or registration requirements.

FCAT scores for students...

The School District of Lee County would like you to know that Individual Student FCAT Reports will be available for pick up at schools this summer. The Florida Department of Education sends these reports to us usually about two weeks after initial results are in the newspaper. Please contact the school your child attended this past school year to find out the dates and times the reports can be picked up after their release date.  Thank you for your patience as our district and schools organize these reports in order to make them available to you.

First Day Reports Can Be Picked Up at Schools

Grade 3 Reading and Math: June 20 (NOTE: beginning on May 28 school staff will share results with parents if requested in person)

FCAT Writing (Grades 4, 8, and 10): June 7

FCAT Reading/Math/Science (Grades 4-9): July 11


NORTH FORT MYERS ACADEMY FOR THE ARTS

PERFORMING ARTS SUMMER CAMP (click here for application)

Summer camp starts on  Monday, June 3rd.  Hours are 9:00am - 3:00pm.  Check in starts at 8:45am in the front courtyard.  Steel Drums, Beginning - June 3rd - 7th; Steel Drums, Advanced - June 10th - 14th; Musical Theatre Dance - June 3rd - 14th; Beginning Violins - June 3rd - 7th.

North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts will host a Performing Arts Summer Camp that is open to all District students. Curriculum for the camp will focus on either Steel Drums (offered to students entering 6th through 9th grade, and including separate classes for beginning and advanced students), Musical Theatre Dance (open to students entering 4th through 8th grade) and Beginning Violin (offered to students entering 3rd through 6th grade).  For fee information, hours of operation and dates for each particular camp, please contact North Fort Myers Academy for the Arts at 239-997-2131.  application...
