Art work from talented students in Lee County were on display at the 39th Annual Cape Coral Art Festival and Market Place the weekend of January 13-14.

So, when the Bonita Springs Fire Department drove one of their trucks onto the Ida Baker High School campus to donate it to the school, the students in the Firefighting Academy were there to greet it.

The School District of Lee County is excited to announce Fort Myers Technical College is introducing a new program that will facilitate future healthcare professionals' journey to becoming a Registered Nurse in less time and for a fraction of the cost. This novel LPN to RN pathway takes two years instead of four and saves the student more than $53,000.
