What is Renaissance?

Renaissance is a program that recognizes children for their academic achievements.  We do this in 3 ways:

·       All A’s (Level 1)

·       A “B” average (Level 2) (No Failing Grades)

·       A child that makes a .5 increase in grade point over last quarter (this kicks in 2^nd and 3^rd  quarter)

    (Level 3) (No Failing Grades)

We do several things thru out the quarter:

·       A shirt for Level 1 and 2

·       An academic card that entitles them to all of the things below

·       The Rally where everyone is recognized on stage

·       The Celebration where they go outside to socialize with their friends and have a treat

·       A hotdog cookout with Dr. Santini

·       Crazy Hat Day every Friday

·       Prize patrol-we come around with a piece of candy for each person wearing or having their card

·       Coupons to various places

·       Names posted
