PTO Meeting

 

Meeting called to order at 7:03 a.m.

Members present – John Paul, Andrea Gunns, Jessica Rose, Ann Marie Newberry, Julie Obney, Jessica Pemberton, Dr. Millins, and Andrea Gunns

Approval of meeting minutes – Approved

Treasurers report 9,180.94

  1. Book Fair Dates – October 15-18, 2019 Book Fair will be open on Friday night for Talent Show. Administration is creating a schedule for students to pre-view and go back to book store per student request.
  2. Fall Fundraiser Dates – Extended for another week to increase sales.
  3. Holiday House – We are going to review schedule for book fair and make adjustments. The plan is to only have it open from 7:30 – 10:00 a.m. each day.
  4. PTO – Uniform room is left very messy.New key will be issued. Additional concerns include utilizing washer and dryer utilized during school hours.  PTO is requesting washing machine and dryer to be moved to new location.Administration will inquire about the request.
  5. New Bulletin Board – New board assigned to PTO.
  6. PTO Uniform – Approved $200 for cleaning uniforms.
  7. Box Top – Looking for a Chairperson for this committee.
  8. 8.Ms. Christiansen spoke regarding the process for volunteers. Follow up with Heidi to discuss what app is approved for volunteer hours and how can it be shared with parents.

 

New Business

  1. Sunshades for Playground
  • Coastal Canvas and Awning Quote 21,170.00
  • Scotties Canvas – No quote yet.
  • Waiting for another quote- Will be presented at the next meeting.

 

By-law review PTO members take home for review.

 

Playground- make painted games on black top. Ms. Gunns working on this initiative.

 

Next meeting at October 22nd.
