About the Program
Throughout the year, our dance students perform in our annual performance of The Nutcracker at The Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall, and in our Arts Alive Dance Showcase. Our Dance 4, “Illumination” team performs at events which include Fort Myers Wicked Walk and Art Walk, All County Dance workshops and performance, and typically The Florida Dance Performance Assessment (FDPA) where they are adjudicated by professionals in the field. Our dance department’s mission is to provide each student with a solid foundation of dance education for lifelong appreciation of its physicality, artistry and how it enriches academic success.
