Through features such as 6th-grade-only classroom wings, 6th-grade-only core classes, and peer focused physical education, your child receives the benefits of a full middle school curriculum in a smaller, tailored setting. Secure Schools: The combined use of OPENGATE, School Resource Officers, and Guardians is unique to the School District. When used in conjunction with comprehensive surveillance camera systems and other measures, our schools provide safe environments for 6th-grade students.

Leadership Dedicated to 6th grade Students: The Leadership, including administration, counselors, and Team Leads, understand and support our students by guiding and mentoring our 6th grade students.

Security and Administration: Available during hall changes and lunch shifts to provide consistent visibility and support.
On Campus Outreach

6th Grade Orientation: All rising 6th graders are invited to a 6th grade student only on campus orientation to meet the 6th Grade Team of Teachers and explore the school.

6th Grade Parent Information Evening: 6th Grade Parents and students are invited to meet teachers, counselors, and administration while learning about the shift from elementary to middle school. Topics covered are grading, credits, schedules, sports/clubs, school processes, and getting involved.
